The CDE connection module enables easy and cost-effective integration of SICK sensors into Power over Ethernet (PoE) environments.
The connection module can be used, for example, to integrate 4Dpro identification sensors such as 1D and 2D code readers and RFID read/write devices into such environments.
The CDE acts as a PoE splitter, splitting PoE signals into a 24-volt voltage supply and an Ethernet data line.
Depending on the device version, the LEDs integrated in the housing cover of the connection module visualize the received sensor signals.
Digital input and output signals can be integrated using an additional I/O connection.
With two screws and a plug-in type suitable for all electrical connections, the CDE is very easy to mount on the system.
Features
Cost-efficient solution for the integration of SICK sensors into PoE environments
Time savings due to less required cabling, cost savings due to fewer connection cables
Exact overview of the received sensor signals, such as “Good Read” or “No Read”, visualized by LEDs integrated in the housing cover
Fast installation and easy device replacement thanks to plug-in connections
Compact housing allows for installation even where space is limited
