The CKS36 motor feedback system is a member of a new generation of optical motor feedback systems with the mini-disk technology: A very small code disk of only 2 mm radius allows for holistic scanning while at the same time providing for a high degree of resistance to shock and vibration.
In this the eccentricity errors of the code disk and shaft that are unavoidable with conventional systems are compensated for by the system.
At a glance
Output driver for incremental and commutation signals as per EIA 422
Resolution of up to 2,048 lines per revolution
Commutation signals up to 32 pole pairs
Individual programming of the line count, pole pair number and zero pulse width
