Linear measurement sensors from SICK can determine an accurate position on product travel paths of up to 10 km in length – along a straight line or curve. The OLM200 combines extreme precision and high travel speeds with fieldbus interfaces.
With its many other intelligent details, the OLM200 product family is setting new standards in linear positioning by bar code tape. The output of position data – precise to within 0.15 mm – the speed output, and diagnosis data guarantee an efficient and reliable machine operation.
The intelligent design in a rugged magnesium housing includes a sensor that takes account of the required orientation angles. Thus, in contrast to standard sensors, alignment is only necessary in one axis.
The OLM200 also has LED lighting. Furthermore, the complete elimination of moving parts offers a high service life and durability – even under challenging ambient conditions.
